I’m a salesperson by circumstance, a librarian by inclination, and a pulp writer in my soul. I’ve been a Jane of All Trades around BSceneLive. I’ve been a photographer, an editor, and a graphic designer by turns for our grand musical mission to bring the best of Tucson to the web. I’ve only written fiction but expect music reviews from me in the future.
Music fuels my writing and my art while the desert inspires it. Tucson has such a wonderful scene with its own distinct style that draws me in. My only goal with BSceneLive is to capture a moment, a place, and a sound carried on the winds of the Old Pueblo.
When I’m not being scene live, I study librarianship at the University of Arizona and sell electronics. I love Joss Whedon, genre fiction, local music, and enchiladas. I have a nervous habit of spouting off historical facts. I also freelance web design at Blue Madera Web Designs

Ballyhoo- buildup, hoopla, fanfare; hype. It's all synonymous of a talented band.
I’m no stranger to that phenomenon of music where the songs coming off of the stage perfectly echo the feelings you are experiencing. A song, a nod from an appreciative musician, or that glance over to the girl across the room, grooving as hard as you are, all freezes that moment in time. The energy from the talented bands that played Tuesday night at The Hut was my companion long after the final song. A few beers deep, with some of my Bscenelive partners in crime, I felt the funk's presence deep in my swaying hips.
