My name's Raymond Sanchez, and I'm currently a 19 year old freshman studying neuroscience, music, and recording studio production at the University of Arizona. For as long as I can remember, music has been my passion, and the only thing in life that I've ever really been sure of. It's gotten me through more in my life than I would ever have thought possible. I've played in local bands around Tucson since the age of 12, playing at local venues like the Rialto, Club Congress, The Rock, Skrappy's and more; the local music scene is an important part of who I am. The only other thing that strikes a chord in me as much as music does is the written word, and what better way to combine my two passions then to write about music? My goal at BSceneLive is to experience everything that the Tucson music scene has to offer, and capture and share it with people in a way that makes them feel as passionately about music as I do.
